The Maplewood Police Department will be participating in the DEA Drug Take Back on October 24, 2026, from 10 AM to 2 PM.

Big Bend between Sunnen Drive and Oxford Boulevard will close Friday, October 10th at 10 PM and reopen Saturday, October 11th at 6 AM. Once opened, Big Bend will remain restricted to one lane in each direction to give the contractor room to work and ensure the safety of workers and commuters.

Construction signs will be installed throughout the area notifying drivers to use Laclede Station Rd and South Hanley Rd as alternate routes.

Happening tonight! This is the community's opportunity to share their thoughts and recommendations as the Maplewood Richmond Heights School District works to identify the next MRH superintendent of schools.

*** SURVEY DEADLINE EXTENDED THROUGH CLOSE OF BUSINESS ON OCTOBER 9!***

The MRH Board of Education, in partnership with the Missouri School Boards’ Association, is seeking a leader to guide MRH into its next chapter. Your perspective is an important part of that process. Please make plans to attend an in-person and highly interactive presentation by the MSBA on October 6. This will be your chance to express your thoughts and recommendations on the quest to identify the next MRH superintendent of schools.

Due to unforeseen circumstances this event has been cancelled for tomorrow. Dignity on Wheels will be at Deer Creek Park on Wednesday, October 7, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 1 PM providing safe showering services for those in need. This free service helps individuals access clean, private shower facilities in a welcoming and respectful environment. Please help spread the word to anyone who may benefit from this resource.
