🇺🇸 A Night of Football, Unity & Remembrance 🇺🇸

Friday night’s home football game vs. Amherst will be more than just a game. It will also be an opportunity for our community to come together in remembrance of the 25th Anniversary of 9/11.

🏈 Kickoff: 7:00 PM

In remembrance and honor of those who lost their lives, those who were affected, and the brave individuals who responded, we will have several special tributes throughout the evening:

🚒 Free Admission for First Responders & Emergency Service Personnel

All first responders and emergency service personnel, including fire, police, EMTs, paramedics, military personnel, and others, will receive free admission.

🪙 Honorary Coin Flip

Marathon Fire Chief Darrin Hall will serve as our honorary guest for the coin flip at 6:50pm.

🇺🇸 Red, White & Blue Student Sections

Both student sections will dress in red, white and blue as a collective sign of unity and remembrance.

🕊️ Moment of Silence

Prior to kickoff, we will observe a moment of silence to honor and remember those lost and affected by the events of 9/11.

❤️ 50/50 Raffle

Proceeds from the 50/50 raffle will be donated to our local first responders.

🚶 Silent Walk at 6:00 PM

Before the football game, the Marathon Fire, EMS and Police Departments will host a Silent Walk up Main Street beginning at 6:00 PM.

We invite our community to come together, show our appreciation for those who serve, and remember the lives forever impacted by September 11, 2001.

Any Fire, EMS, or Law Enforcement participants are welcome and warmly encouraged to meet at our station prior to the event between 5:15 PM and 5:30 PM.

We had a blast celebrating the last day of school at the MEAS Color Run! Nothing beats wrapping up the year with bright colors, big smiles, and a little cool-down water from the trucks. 💦🚒
