Thank you all for visiting and supporting Marblehead Lighthouse State Park this season! The buildings are now closed until May 29, 2027 - but the park is always open! We will be opening the gift shop for select shopping weekends leading up to Christmas and you can find these dates under the "Happenings" tab on our website. Today is the Marblehead Lighthouse Festival!

The weather is wonderful, the leaves are turning, and the views are spectacular!

We’re open for tours until 4pm today - your last chance to climb to the top of the lighthouse this year!

Tomorrow Saturday October 10th is our 30th annual Lakeside-Marblehead Lighthouse Festival and the weather is looking wonderful!

The lighthouse will be open for tours from 9:00am - 4:00pm!
The Marblehead Lighthouse Historical Society will have their gift shop and museums open as well!

This is a peninsula-wide celebration, not just at the state park!

This will be the last day of the year to climb the 77 steps to the top of the lighthouse!

Things are winding down at the Lighthouse!
Although the park is open year-round, many of our buildings close for the season after our Marblehead Lighthouse Festival!

Here are our last two opportunities to tour the lighthouse!
Saturday & Sunday October 3rd & 4th - open 12-4pm
Saturday October 10th - open 9am-4pm

The weather is looking wonderful for the weekend!

Join us for lighthouse tours on Saturday & Sunday.
Open from 12:00pm - 4:00pm.
Tours every 20 minutes, last tour departs at 3:40pm
Tickets for tours are available day of, at the base of the lighthouse.
$5.00 per person, children 5 and under are free.

Visit the museum, gift shop, and lifesaving station on your visit as well!

Happy fall!
We're loving watching the season change here at the lighthouse!
The lake has been moody and the leaves are falling.

We're sharing East Harbor State Park's leaf and tree identification post today - did you know we have multiple Ohio Buckeye trees on our property?
Quite a few are located next to the Lifesaving Station and can be found on our hiking trail.
Look for fallen buckeyes on the ground!
