Great news. It’s going to be fantastic.
A big day for Naples.
The rebuild of the iconic Naples Pier officially broke ground.
Over the next four months, the damaged pier will be demolished, clearing the way for a new pier designed to be bigger and stronger, while keeping the charm of the original that locals and visitors love. The goal is a structure better built to withstand future storms.
Congressman Byron Donalds, along with city and county leaders, was on hand for the ceremony. Construction is expected to take about 18 months.
The original pier was destroyed by Hurricane Ian in 2022. Today marks an important step forward in restoring one of Naples’ most beloved landmarks.

A quick snapshot of January. There’s no lesson here other than a reality check for our buyers and sellers out there. Sellers wanting to sell now need to price their properties right the first time. Thinking that you can always reduce the price later is a flawed strategy. Once the property is on the market too long it will wind up on the trash heap being deemed undesirable by buyers who can see the DOM or days on the market. For buyers, this is simply opportunity. More choices out there, better prices, and more motivated sellers.
