Tonight is the night! Join the City of Margate and Brookfield Properties to learn about the City Center project. This is your chance to help shape Margate’s future.
The event will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Leonard Weisinger Community Center, 6199 NW 10th St.
The City of Margate is thrilled to welcome Kiddie Care Preschool, a brand-new daycare center to our community! A ribbon-cutting ceremony was held at 6301 W. Atlantic Blvd. with Margate commissioners Anthony N. Caggiano and Joanne Simone.
Also present was District 95 Florida House Representative Christine Hunschofsky to celebrate the grand opening.
Owners Jennifer and Cheriezson McNally are excited to offer a safe, nurturing, and educational environment for children ranging in ages of 3 months through VPK-level, as well as aftercare for elementary school grades K–5.

Precautionary📌 Boil Water Notice: On Tuesday, October 1, a major water main break occurred on Banks Road due to work by a contractor, causing a service disruption for about 300 nearby residents. PLEASE REFER TO THIS MAP to view the affected area. As a precautionary measure, the City of Margate is issuing a Precautionary Boil Water Notice for the affected residents, effective immediately. The City is placing door hangers on each affected residence.
As a precaution, we suggest boiling all water used for drinking, cooking, making ice, brushing teeth, or washing dishes. A rolling boil of one minute is sufficient. Bottled water may also be used. This notice is in effect until the repair has been completed and the bacteriological surveys on two consecutive days are satisfactory.
