Congrats to the Walton Jazz I on be selecting to perform at the our state music convention in January.

A HUGE Congratulations to the Walton Jazz Band I students and Mr. Clark on their acceptance to perform at the 2025 GMEA In-Service Conference! They will perform on Thurs, January 30th at 4:00pm in the Oconee River Room at The Classic Center!

On November 30th, we had the privilege of announcing that the Walton Theater will be officially named the Robert J. Cowles Theater and that Mr. Cowles will be the first inductee into the Walton Fine Arts Hall of Fame! We are looking for sponsors to help with the lettering and plaque creation cost. We can think of no greater honor for the man who started the Walton Band and Orchestra programs and also served as a department chair and chorus teacher. Please consider honoring Mr. Cowles with a donation in his honor at WaltonBand.org/Cowles

Congratulations to our amazing percussion students on their performance today at the 77th annual Midwest Clinic. They represented our school and themselves with pride and musicality that was far beyond their years.

We’re accepting new members in the program now! Beginners are welcome, and this is open to all Walton HS and Dodgen/Dickerson MS students.

We will be offering a HS Varsity, a HS Junior Varsity, and MS Junior Raiders program for the 2024 Winter season.
