On Sunday, I attended service at Beulah Missionary Baptist Church, where Reverend Laurence Parison delivered a message that touched me: “Be not afraid, but be thou faithful.”
In a season that feels loud, divisive, and unsettling, those words were a powerful reminder to remain grounded in faith, anchored in peace, and guided by love.
I’m reminded that faithfulness doesn’t mean life will be free of challenges, disappointment, or hurt. It means trusting in something greater than myself, even when the world around me feels uncertain. It means allowing myself to experience those moments without letting them pull me away from my center.
Especially in this political climate, I’m choosing faithfulness over fear.
I’m grateful to Reverend Parison and the Beulah family for the warm welcome and for a message that met me exactly where I am in this season of life. I’m also grateful to have shared this experience with my friend Bentley Hudgins. 💜
