Students from North Cobb High School’s Law Enforcement pathway recently trained alongside our Cobb County Sheriff’s Office Cadets and Training Staff for a hands-on look at real-world law enforcement.

From traffic stop training to leadership and communication skills, students gained valuable experience while learning from those who serve our community every day. We’re proud to help inspire the next generation of public safety professionals.

Every day, our deputies answer the call to serve and sometimes, that call comes in the most unexpected moments.

While on his way to work, Sgt. Fraser was flagged down by a pedestrian who led him to a vehicle where a woman was in active labor in the back seat. With traffic at a standstill and the situation quickly escalating, Sgt. Fraser realized there was no time to waste. After seeing that her water had broken, he immediately activated his lights and sirens and safely escorted the family to the hospital.

Shortly after arriving, the couple welcomed a healthy baby into the world, on the same day as the father’s birthday. What began as a frightening and overwhelming moment became a joyful memory thanks to Sgt. Fraser’s quick thinking, calm under pressure, and decisive action.

Please join us in giving Sgt. Fraser a well-deserved round of applause for going above and beyond in service to our community. 👏
