Cobb County Schools has two therapy dog teams supporting our school community.

โจ Supporting Parents Through Self-Care โจ
Parenting is a full-time job, but taking care of yourself is just as important! Thatโs why Cobb County Schools Raquel Rodriguez established Womenโs Wellness Group / Labelle Elementary school to help moms and caregivers recharge, connect, and prioritize their well-being.
When parents take care of themselves, they show up as their best selves for their families.

Over the winter break, Cobb County Schools was blown away by the generosity of our community 7x24 Exchange International ! Thanks to your incredible donations, we're able to provide backpacks filled with essential supplies to those in need. Your kindness is making a real difference, one backpack at a time.

Cooling Shelter Information:
Please be advised that Hope House will open its doors to the Cooling Center in anticipation of the elevated temperature over the next seven days, starting August 7 through August 14, from 12 pm to 6:30 pm. Clients will receive lunch and dinner before their departure. The Hope House shelter is at 1297 Bells Ferry Road, Marietta, GA 30066.

We're still on First Responder Support week here at Nichols Center! And information is POWER! Did you know First Responders are at a much higher risk for mental illness diagnosis? We've talked about PTSD in First Responders this week, now let's approach the topic of depression. Check out the information we've provided. And remember, having a mental health diagnosis can be difficult to accept but you are not alone! Let us help support you on your mental health journey.

Reading just one picture book a day with them can introduce them to an impressive 78,000 new words over the year.
