We're honored to receive a 2026 Aliceann Wohlbruck Impact Award from the National Association of Development Organizations (NADO)!

The award recognizes Buckeye Hills Regional Council's 2022–2025 USEPA Brownfields Community-Wide Assessment Program and the work to help communities address environmental challenges, prepare properties for redevelopment, and create new economic opportunities.

This recognition highlights the importance of regional partnerships and the lasting impact of helping communities turn underutilized properties into valuable community assets.

Last week, we celebrated the completion of revitalization projects in Pomeroy and Logan, as well as at the Ecotone Amphitheater in Sardis! Made possible by the Appalachian Community Grant Program, these projects are improving residents' quality of life, creating new destinations for visitors, and showcasing all that Appalachian Ohio has to offer.

We're proud to see these investments bringing new life and opportunities to our communities!
