Congratulations to Walton’s 2026 Jackie Auerbach Award recipient, Ms. Heather Guiendon! 💙❤️

As lead coach of the Walton Robotics Team and a dedicated engineering educator, Heather inspires students daily through Advanced Engineering and Aerospace courses, STEM outreach, and mentorship. She creates an inclusive environment where students are encouraged to take risks, discover their strengths, and grow as leaders.

From hosting summer camps and Girls FIRST STEM nights to guiding students toward World Championship robotics competition and Governor’s Honors Program recognition, Heather’s impact reaches far beyond the classroom. Her passion for STEM education and commitment to supporting students make her an incredible role model for the Walton community.

We are so proud to recognize Ms. Heather Guiendon for the difference she makes in the lives of Walton students every day! 👏🤖✨

🏆🏆it’s award season! Walton PTSA was award membership awards as well as Model PTSA at our annual county awards banquet! Thank you to all of our PTSA members who helped us have a successful 2025-2026 school year! A big shout to all our committee chairs and Executive board members who made the magic happen this year! PTSA finished off a great week celebrating our teachers with a staff lunch! Teachers and staff were able to enjoy a bbq lunch outside with the help of our volunteers! Thank you to all who volunteered and donated to make it a great Teacher Appreciation Week!

We’re gearing up for this year’s Shop With a Raider event, and we need your help to make it a success. We are collecting donations of wrapping paper, gift bags, ribbon, tissue paper, and tape to ensure every gift is packaged with care and holiday cheer. If you’re able to contribute, please drop off items at the front office by December 10. Thank you for supporting our students and helping make this special tradition unforgettable for the families we serve!
