We have a new page supporting us! Thank you to our board who has worked hard over the past year to get us here. Please like and share!

We’re excited to officially launch the Sober Streets page.

Sober Streets is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization created to support participants in the Cobb County DUI Court as they work through an intensive program of treatment, accountability, and recovery.

Completing DUI Court takes commitment. Participants are responsible for all of their own treatment expenses, and many also face an additional challenge: for a significant portion of the program, they may not be able to legally drive.

That can make getting to work, treatment appointments, court requirements, and recovery meetings incredibly difficult.

That’s where Sober Streets comes in.

Through fundraising and the generosity of our community, Sober Streets helps provide:

• Scholarships and financial assistance for treatment
• Uber and Lyft assistance for participants who cannot drive
• Support that helps remove financial barriers to successful recovery

Each member of our board works closely with the Cobb County criminal justice system and the recovery community. We have all seen firsthand that DUI arrests and substance abuse do not have to define the rest of a person’s life. Accountability matters—but so do treatment, recovery, opportunity, and second chances.

We hope you’ll follow this page, share our mission, support our events, and help us give people who are doing the hard work of recovery every opportunity to succeed.

Welcome to Sober Streets.

Helping people build a road to recovery.

Here's a few photo's from our amazing ribbon cutting ceremony at our forever home and treatment facility on February 2, 2026! It was a bit chilly, but that didn't stop us from celebrating this huge accomplishment! We are grateful for the Board of Commissioners and Cobb County for supporting all of our programs and the participants as they pursue their best lives in recovery!
