GSGA Foundation

The GSGA Foundation is the 501(c)(3) charitable affiliate of the Georgia State Golf Association. Playing golf is not a prerequisite.

Yates Scholarships are awarded to employees, or children of employees, of GSGA Member Clubs. These young people, or their parents, may be employed in any area of a club's operation - golf operations, golf course maintenance or clubhouse. The GSGA is looking to hire a Communications Intern. The job posting and all pertinent information for that position will be posted on the GSGA's website-www.gsga.org. The internship will run from approximately May 15-August 15.

Scholarship renewal information is emailed to all eligible scholars each year in mid-May and the deadline to apply for renewal is June 15. The renewal application is available online at gsga.org under the Foundation tab. Thanks and please reach out if you have any questions.

Please join the Georgia State Golf Association for a women's golf and networking event at Bobby Jones Golf Course on Wednesday, June 26. This event is for golfers of all abilities, including those who would like to come see what golf is all about! We will have PGA instructors available on the driving range to provide swing tips and instruction for participants. Golf will consist of a 9-hole scramble on Atlanta's revolutionary golf course that is perfect for all skill levels! Following golf, we will have a networking reception with food and drink provided. GSGA gift bags will be available for all participants. Registration is $25 and covers all expenses. Space is limited, so sign up today! Register at gsga.org/womensnetworking
