265th Chemical Battalion

Our deepest condolences to the Family of SGT Suarez and to the 1160th TC.

It’s with great sorrow and a heavy heart that the unit announces the passing of SGT Abraham Suarez. He was taken from us yesterday, 17 December, near his home in Villa Rica. SGT Suarez joined the National Guard in 2008, and has been a member of the 1160th TC family since 2022. SGT Suarez was an outstanding Soldier whom many looked up to, regardless the unit he served in. He is survived by his wife, Amber, and his 3 daughters.

Efforts to provide assistance to the Suarez family are currently ongoing and the battalion chaplain is available for Soldiers who would like to utilize that resource.

The 810th Engineer Company showed out this past weekend and reminded everyone just how hard they train for the fight. Keep up the great work Hazard Soldiers!

The 265th Chemical Battalion would like to highlight the 248th MCAS for all their hard work during our Annual Training. We can do a lot of things, but we can't do anything without our Medics and Providers. Thanks for all the hard work and support this past week.

Today the 265th Chemical Battalion would like to highlight the 1177th Transportation Company for their hard work and training during our Annual Training. We would also like to congradulate one of the 1177th Soldiers on welcoming a new little one into the world.

Today the 265th Chemical Battalion is highlighting the 202nd EOD for all their training at Fort Eisenhower during our Annual Training.

The 265th Chemical Battalion would like to highlight the 1160th Transportation Company for the training they are doing during our Annual Training.

Todays highlight from the 265th Chemical Battalion is the 138th Chemical Company during their Army Combat Fitness Test at our Annual Training. One of their Soldiers scored at 553, PFC Coralei Orth, who is a 74D with the unit.

The 265th Chemical Battalion are currently conducting our yearly Annual Training. Each day we will post and highlight one of our units doing great training at Fort Stewart and Fort Eisenhower. Today we are highlightng the 810th Engineer Company.

This past week the 265th Chemical Battalion was represented by the Best Warriors and we could not be more proud of all they did. These two worked tirelessly to compete and show that they deserved to be at the State Best Warrior Competition. Great Job SSG Sidebe from 138th Chemical Company and SPC Moore from 810th Engineer Company.
