From the Court to the Classroom is a service provided by the Cobb County Superior Court educating interest groups on the court system.
From the Court to the Classroom is a service provided by the Cobb County Superior Court to educate our youth on the court system and its functionality. This is a unique program that offers Cobb County elementary and secondary school students the opportunity to play an active role in learning about the judicial system. This program is designed to offer a supplemental educational benefit to any stud
y of civil government and the judiciary. Best of all, it is absolutely FREE! Currently, there are two educational opportunities offered under this program. The first option is "Court 2 You", where one of our 10 Superior Court judges will visit your school, educating the students about the judicial system and what it is like to be a judge. The second option is to sign up for a mock trial here at our courthouse, where your students will act out roles from our mock trial script, and get to experience what a real trial is like. Whether a judge comes out to speak to your students, or your students participate in a mock trial here at the courthouse, each program is designed to meet the educational needs of your students, and will offer them a fun and exciting way to learn about the court system. Not only is it important for everyone to understand what role they play in the judicial system, but also how this process benefits all of the members in our community. We invite you to join us as we take you and your students through an enlightening experience of our judicial system.
