Richardson Ambulance Service

04/19/2026

As we wrap up National Public Safety Telecommunicators Week, we want to take a moment to recognize the voices behind the scenes who keep everything moving.

From all of us at Richardson Ambulance Service — thank you to every dispatcher, including the dedicated teams at our local sheriff’s departments and our own in-house dispatchers.

You are the calm in the chaos.
The steady voice on the other end of the line.
The lifeline that connects our crews to those in need.

Every call you answer, every detail you gather, and every second you spend coordinating care makes a difference — not just for us in the field, but for the patients and families we serve every day.

Your work often goes unseen, but it never goes unappreciated.

We are proud to work alongside you and grateful for your commitment, professionalism, and heart.

Thank you for being the first first responders.

Busy but beautiful weekend for our crews! 🚑

From a dirt track standby, to an MMA fight standby, to working at Bristol Motor Speedway, plus multiple trucks transporting interfacility transfers to hospitals across the region — it was a full schedule from start to finish.

We’re grateful for the opportunity to serve and proud of the teamwork that keeps everything running smoothly. And we definitely enjoyed that beautiful weather along the way!
