📚Lion Leaders in Action! 🤩

Today, our Hazel Point Lion Leaders visited Echo Hill to celebrate America Reads! 📖

They shared their love of reading, connected with younger students, and showed that great leaders inspire others through service and learning.

We are so proud of our Lion Leaders for making a positive impact, one book at a time! 📚✨

🪨 Rocking Our Science Learning! 🔬

Lakeside 6th grade students are putting their science skills to the test as they investigate rocks from the Grand Canyon!

Students are testing their rock samples to see if they contain calcite. How do they know? They’re adding an acid solution and carefully observing the results! If the rock reacts with the acid by fizzing or bubbling, that’s a clue that calcite is present!

We love seeing our students think like scientists by making observations, testing evidence, and discovering more about the world around them through hands-on learning! 💡
