One year ago today, we said goodbye to our chief, Chief Jeremy Norris. A man who meant more to this department than words can truly capture. He was a leader, a mentor, and a brother to all who had the privilege of serving alongside him. His dedication to this department and to the community never went unnoticed, he led with strength, integrity, and a heart for service that set the standard for all of us.

Though he is no longer with us, his legacy lives on in every call we respond to, every life we touch, and every decision we make wearing this badge. He built more than a department he built a family, and that family continues to stand strong because of the foundation he left behind.

We honor him today not only in remembrance, but in action. We will continue to serve with the same pride, commitment, and courage that he showed each and every day.

Rest in peace, Chief Jeremy Norris.❤️

At approximately 02:45 hours this morning, Engine 2150 and Truck 1 responded to a report of a high-voltage electrical box emitting sparks and smoke.

Truck 1 was first to arrive on scene and confirmed that the electrical box was actively smoking upon arrival.

Tender 2660 and Engine 2550 also responded to the scene.

2150 responded to a one vehicle 10-50 tonight along with 2350, Car 1 and Car 3.
