Although it is a few weeks away, we are still looking for books for the Dec 4-5 booksale. This will be a good sale for Christmas books and stocking stuffer books. Keep in mind that your donated books need to be free of odor, mold, mildew - donate a book that you would like to buy for yourself!

Saw lots of people at our sale last week. Thanks to everyone who came. In fact, we almost ran out of grocery bags for people to use for their purchases. If you have some spare bags, would you please drop them off at the library for our next sale - December 4 & 5. Pick up some nice books as presents! We will have bookmarks at that sale showing when our 2027 sales will be.

Time for the back-to-school book sale. If you have books to donate, now is the time to bring them in.

Hi everyone - I hope you are enjoying the weather. If you have decided to clear out your bookshelves so you have room for your summer reading, please remember that the Friends of Marion Carnegie Library accepts book donations for our quarterly book sales. We currently have plenty of room in our book storage area and are on the lookout for books for our August 28-29 sale. Just take your books to the main desk at the library and we can take it from there!

The Friends had a great sale in March. If you would like to donate books, now is the time to bring them in for the next sale on May 29 & 30. You may take them to the main desk and let them know that it is for the next book sale. Please thumb through your donations before bringing them in. We have found items in them that we are sure the owners would not have wanted to donate.

Coming soon - first book sale of 2026. Hope to see you there.
