📦 Tomorrow is Food Box Giveaway Day at St. Martin!

Join us tomorrow from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM for our monthly food box giveaway!

We'll be distributing meat, canned goods, and a variety of other food items to help our neighbors put food on the table.

🛍️ Please bring a box, bag, or something to carry your food! We'll have a limited number of boxes available, but bringing your own helps us make sure everyone has what they need.

⏰ Don't feel like you have to arrive early! Our line is typically busiest right at 9:00 AM. If standing in line is difficult for you, we encourage you to come after 10:00 AM, when the crowd has usually thinned out. We typically still have plenty of food available at 10:45!

❤️ Help us spread the word! Please share this post so we can reach as many individuals and families in need as possible.

Cleaning out? Your donations can do a lot of good right here in Grant County.

St. Martin Community Center is looking for good-quality donations for our thrift store — clothing, household goods, furniture, small appliances, home décor, and other clean, usable items that deserve a second home.

Why does it matter?

St. Martin currently receives no government funding. Our work is entirely supported locally — by people who donate, shop, volunteer, and give to St. Martin.

When you donate good, usable items to our thrift store, you're doing more than cleaning out a closet or garage. You're helping St. Martin continue serving our neighbors and keeping those resources right here in our community.

We especially appreciate items that are clean, complete, in good working condition, and ready for someone else to use. If you wouldn't feel comfortable giving it to a friend or neighbor, it probably isn't a good fit for the thrift store.

Because our truck is heavily used for food pickups and other parts of our mission, we do not have the ability to pick up donations. Drop-off donations are greatly appreciated.

Have something you're ready to part with?

Donate it locally. Shop locally. Help St. Martin serve locally.

Thank you, Grant County, for continuing to support St. Martin Community Center.

Our community showed up in a big way!

We want to say thank you to everyone who helped make the St. Martin Community Center Golf Scramble a success.

This year's event brought together local businesses, community organizations, individual sponsors, volunteers, golfers, and members of the GM team—all helping support the work happening every day at St. Martin. Altogether our sponsors and golfers brought together $7,000!

GM team members participated as golfers and sponsors, GM Cares provided matching donations from team members, and those matching funds added an additional $3,768 to the event.

A special thank you to the St. Martin Community Center staff, the Marion Elks team, and all of the volunteers who planned, set up, registered golfers, managed the event, and helped tear everything down afterward.

And, of course, thank you to every business and organization that sponsored the event. Your support helps St. Martin continue serving our community.

We couldn't do this work alone. Thank you for being part of it.

Every day, people walk through the doors of St. Martin because they're hungry.

But hunger is rarely the only challenge they're facing.

Sometimes they need warm clothing.
Sometimes they need fresh produce.
Sometimes they need help completing an application.
Sometimes they need to be connected with another organization that can walk beside them through illness, housing challenges, employment, or other hardships.

Food is often the first conversation—but it isn't the last.

At St. Martin, we believe in meeting immediate needs while helping people take the next step toward stability.

Every donation helps make that possible.

It keeps meals on the table.
It stocks our pantry.
It provides clothing to those in need.
It helps us connect our neighbors with the resources that can change lives.

Together, we're building a stronger Grant County—one person, one family, and one conversation at a time.

If you'd like to be part of that mission, you can give securely online here:
