Marion Senior Center OUR MISSION:
Enriching the lives of seniors through activities and services that promote wellness, independence, and fun!

The Marion Senior Center is a community facility in which persons age 50+ can meet with one another to fulfill their social, physical and emotional needs.It is also the focal point for the delivery of services to, and by older adults. Center programs and activities help older persons enhance their dignity, support their independence, and encourage community involvement. The Senior Center also provides seniors with access to other community resources and services. We provide high-quality, diverse and dynamic programs and activities which encourage personal growth and development.

Did you know the Marion County Board of Developmental Disabilities currently serves over 1,000 local residents—ranging from an 8-month-old baby to an 89-year-old adult? 💙

Our Senior Transportation department is in need of a scooter for use in a couple upcoming driver training sessions on Thursday 11/5 and Monday 11/9. Can be either a 3-wheel or 4-wheel model. We will pick it up and return it (same day if needed).

If you or someone you know has one we could borrow, please let us know by calling our transportation coordinator Misty at 740-387-5444.

Carla Poston, ProCore Health Brokers, had a nice turnout for her "Get the Scoop on Medicare" presentation today. Everyone enjoyed a scoop of ice cream on this warm afternoon while getting the "scoop" on changes to Medicare in 2027.
