June is Pride Month and the Discovery Museum is thrilled to host a special event for Pride Families. We hope you’ll join us Saturday, June 6, from 5pm to 8pm for a free Pride Family Evening! Meet other LGBTQ+ families in a welcoming and inclusive environment and enjoy a fun, friendly experience in our accessible and universally designed Discovery Museum and Discovery Woods. The Museum will be closed to the general public during the event. Dinner, including a gluten-free option, will be provided. Keeping these assets—the boat launch, the beach, the splash pads, and the wading pools—top-notch and accessible is a direct result of our collective effort. We want to extend a massive thank you to the entire community for your support and partnership over the years. It's because of you that we can invest in, manage, and proud of these great assets.

The dedication of the Recreation Department is a point of pride, and we are honored to serve this city. Let’s make 2026 a summer filled with laughter, sunshine, and incredible community fun!

Mother Artists know what it's like to chase a creative idea while chasing toddlers. Art doesn't wait for a quiet moment. It's about showing up, making something honest, and finding beauty between the messes.

Full of color, feeling, and a little chaos, this show features work by local artists alongside their children's work, exploring the blurred line between motherhood and artistic identity. Join the artists as they celebrate this special art show.

The Marlborough Floating Boardwalk is officially open for the season!

Thank you for your patience while the city completed accessibility improvements and routine maintenance in the area. Enjoy the beauty of the boardwalk and wooded trail from dusk to dawn. Whether you're out for a walk with friends & family or enjoying a peaceful nature break, please help keep the area safe and enjoyable for everyone by observing all posted rules.
