Last week we lost a dedicated, long time member of our Board of Directors, Ellen Carlucci. Ellen served on the MEDC board for 16 years through her role at Umass Memorial Marlborough Hospital but beyond that she was a friend to us all. Leading fundraising and community awareness for transformative projects in our city such as the cancer center, the women’s imaging center, and most recently the addition of the new emergency department and approval for proton therapy. Ellen worked tirelessly to ensure Marlborough was at the forefront of investment in healthcare, and she was a fierce community advocate. We will miss her dearly. Please keep her family and friends in your thoughts.

🌧Rain didn't stop us from having a good time!

🙏Thank you to everyone who came out and enjoyed this year's Food Truck and Arts Festival despite the rain. We recognize and appreciate all of the vendors, bands, community groups, and food trucks who kept a positive attitude all day long.

💪 As always, we are especially grateful to our Marlborough Police, Fire, Facilities, and DPW teams for all their hard work behind the scenes to make this event possible.

🤝We're also thankful for the collaboration between the Marlborough Downtown Village Association, City of Marlborough (Official), volunteer students from Advanced Math & Science Academy Charter School and Marlborough Public Schools, and WooTrucks, who all came together to bring this fantastic event to life.

😆We're looking forward to next year's festival and keeping our fingers crossed for better weather! (More pictures coming soon)
