Shoutout to some of the incredible volunteers at the Hayden Fire Department in Arizona! 🚒🔥

Hayden is a tight-knit mining town in Eastern Pinal County, and their dedicated team of 18 volunteer firefighters and EMTs handle every call that comes their way—from wildfires to vehicle accidents. On top of protecting their home turf, Hayden FD regularly provides mutual aid to neighboring Arizona communities like Kearny and Winkelman.
To help keep these heroes hydrated while working through the intense Arizona heat, SSI was proud to donate a pallet of water to the station.
Thank you, Hayden Fire Department, for everything you do to keep our local communities safe! 👏💧

Spotlighting Success: A Special Shoutout to Our PM, Shawn!

We are incredibly lucky to have Shawn Slaiman leading the charge as our Project Manager at Niagara AFB. For well over a year now, he has provided wonderful direction to our operations, combining his vast experience with a leadership style rooted in community and genuine appreciation.

💪🏼 Shawn is always willing to go the extra mile for his staff—whether he is guiding a complex project, keeping the team motivated, or stepping up to man the grill to thank everyone for their hard work.

🎖️ As a 24-year United States Air Force Veteran, Shawn’s dedication to our country is unmatched. The NHL’s Buffalo Sabres recently honored him on the ice, celebrating his decades of military service. Joining him for this memorable moment was Sabres forward Zach Benson, making it a special celebration for Shawn and his family.

🎓 Beyond his professional and military achievements, Shawn is a dedicated family man. He and his family recently celebrated another major milestone together as he attended his daughter’s White Coat Ceremony, marking the exciting start of her journey into the medical field.

Thank you, Shawn, for all you do!

Thanks to a generous donation to the GSA in Des Moines, the facility can now host Popcorn Mondays each week. SSI is fortunate to be part of this initiative, as it creates additional opportunities for us to connect with our tenants and build more positive, friendly relationships. We truly appreciate GSA and the people in this building—without them, we wouldn’t be here. This week we celebrated Mother's Day. Go Team Des Moines!!!

Following a powerful windstorm with gusts reaching 70 mph, Mike Voelker and Richard Muldoon took immediate action to clear debris from the base creek at Niagara Falls Air Reserve Base. Fallen branches and storm debris threatened to obstruct water flow, which could have led to flooding and damage across the installation. Their proactive response prevented potential blockages and safeguarded critical infrastructure and environment.
