And I made it out spending just $21 and some change—the cheapest HomeGoods trip I’ve EVER had! Somebody clap for me because that took personal growth and putting s**t back. 🤣👏

Y’all… we got a Spicy update, and my heart needed this SO fu***ng much. 🥹🐓❤️

I’ve made plenty of jokes about his eviction, but honestly? I’ve been upset. I knew finding him a new home was the right thing for ME, but I kept worrying… was it the right thing for HIM? And my girls? Was I being selfish because I wanted to enjoy my chickens without being drop-kicked by their husband? 😭😂

Then his new dad sent me these videos.

This little as***le is already getting loved on and KISSED. Meanwhile, I was over here negotiating safe passage through my own yard. SIR. 😂🤦🏼‍♀️

Seeing him settling in and being loved has lifted such a weight off my heart. He’s got new ladies, someone who’s happy to have him, and hopefully some beautiful little Spicy babies in his future. And my girls get a mama who can come hang out without preparing for battle. ❤️

Sometimes the right decision still feels hard until you get to see the good on the other side. Today, I finally got to see it. 🥹

And I think we made a new chicken friend in the process! 🐓🫶🏼 Cyril Ricks Hi Friend!

The patio isn’t quite finished, but the patio OUTFIT is ready! 😂🩷

Had to get this cute little patio poncho so I can snuggle up and chill in our new space! David has done such a freaking AWESOME job on this project, and I cannot wait to show y’all the finished patio. That man deserves some bragging on! 🙌

Meanwhile, Hootie looks like he’s had enough of my backyard fashion show. Sir, this is your life. 🤣🐈‍⬛

🐓 FREE ROOSTER — MUST PICK UP! 🐓

We are looking to rehome our rooster, Spicy Two Peas.

Spicy is a handsome, healthy rooster who takes his job protecting his ladies VERY seriously. Unfortunately, he’s become increasingly aggressive toward people, and despite giving him several chances, we’ve made the decision that it’s time for him to go.

He needs to go somewhere better suited for a territorial rooster and preferably with someone experienced in handling them.

A few things to know:

* 🐓 FREE to whoever wants him.
* 🚗 MUST pick up. We cannot deliver.
* ⚠️ He IS aggressive toward humans. Please know what you’re taking on.
* 🏡 This is a permanent rehoming. We cannot take him back.

I’m not looking for advice on how to handle him or suggestions on what to do with him. We’ve already made our decision.

I’ve grown attached to him, and this isn’t an easy choice, but I need to be able to safely enjoy my chickens again.
