🚗 The Calhoun County GIS team is on the move!
Our team continues to verify address accuracy along roads and properties throughout the county. This work strengthens the foundation for emergency response, public safety, and reliable mapping for local governments.

📍The team is currently working in HOMER TOWNSHIP.

Accurate address information isn’t just about convenience, it’s about safety. When someone calls 911, responders rely on precise location data to find the right place. Even small address errors can cause confusion or delays.

🌱 Growing more than just vegetables at the Calhoun County Youth Center! 🥕

A big thank you to Larry and Tanner from L. Nelson Excavating for generously donating dirt to fill the Youth Center's raised garden beds! Thanks to their support, residents will be ready to get planting next spring.

The Youth Center's gardening program provides valuable hands-on learning opportunities, teaching residents how to plant, care for, and harvest fresh produce. Along the way, they develop practical skills, learn responsibility, and discover the importance of healthy eating.

Best of all, the vegetables they grow are used to prepare meals right in the Youth Center's kitchen, bringing the garden-to-table experience full circle!

Thank you, L. Nelson Excavating, for helping this program continue to grow! 🌿
