October is National Pedestrian Safety Month! 🚶🌙

Now that it gets dark earlier, make sure to stay alert
and look out for each other.

Drivers: Slow down, stop for people in crosswalks, and
watch for them when turning.🚗
Pedestrians: Cross the street only at intersections and
crosswalks and stay visible.🔦

Alcohol. THC. Or both. Any high is a DWI. Always include a sober ride as part of your game plan. 🏈
Some good plays you can call:
▪ Designate a driver
▪ Call a sober friend or family member
▪ Take a rideshare or taxi service—split it with a friend!
▪ Use public transit
▪ Stay put until you’re sober

Your costume can be a hot mess. Your ride home needs a plan.

Before the Halloween festivities begin, choose a sober driver, arrange a ride with a sober friend, or check whether taxi or rideshare services are available where you’ll be celebrating.

Save the details before heading out—and have a backup if plans change. In communities with limited transportation options, arrange your ride early instead of counting on finding one later.

Pick the costume. Plan the ride. Enjoy the night.
