A new way to travel around the region is on the way!

Rapid Link launches tomorrow, Thursday, Oct. 1, a new express service connecting Lincoln, Roseville, and the regional light rail system.

The new public transit route offers limited stops along the Highway 65 and Interstate 80 corridors, giving commuters, students, seniors and other travelers a convenient new option.

Rapid Link rides are free for a limited time.

Rapid Link is operated by Roseville Transit in partnership with the Placer County Transportation Planning Agency, Placer County Transit, Yuba-Sutter Transit, Sacramento Regional Transit, and the City of Lincoln.

Yuba-Sutter Transit’s Lincoln/Roseville Route will connect passengers to Rapid Link at the Lincoln Park & Ride. Service launches Monday, October 12!

Service Alert: Discontinuation and Replacement of the Wheatland Route‼️

The existing Wheatland Route will be discontinued, with the final day of service on Friday, October 9, 2026.

Effective Monday, October 12, 2026, the following new services will replace the Wheatland Route and will begin operating in Wheatland.

Lincoln/Roseville Route
The Lincoln/Roseville Route will provide service along the Highway State 65 corridor with scheduled stops in Marysville, Olivehurst and Wheatland.

The Lincoln/Roseville Route will serve the following bus stops in Wheatland:
Highway 65 & 3rd St.
Main St. & C St.
Spruce Ave & Evergreen Dr.

MOD (Mobility On-Demand)
With the expansion of MOD (Mobility On-Demand) in Wheatland, MOD will provide connections to local fixed routes and travel within Wheatland city limits and Olivehurst.
