WE WILL BE OPEN FRIDAY!

10/08/2026

We will be closed today!

For 31 years, Helping Hands has been a tremendous success, touching countless lives and making a difference in our community.

Sadly, due to a lack of volunteers, we are facing the heartbreaking possibility of closing our doors.

The loss of Helping Hands would leave a tremendous void for those who depend on us.

It is heartbreaking that something so successful and needed could come to an end, not because the need is gone, but because we lack volunteers.

Our community needs Helping Hands, but now Helping Hands needs our community more than ever.

We will continuously update you on our situation and decision.

We were excited to have a new volunteer today, Rachael who worked for two hours and thought she could walk away with two bags of clothing without any authorization. All she did was close our door behind her for future needs.

On behalf of Helping Hands, we would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to the Masontown Mennonite Church and Pastor McIntire for their generous gift. Your kindness and support mean so much to us and, most importantly, to the individuals and families we are able to serve in our community

We are truly grateful to the congregation of Masontown Mennonite Church for thinking of Helping Hands and for sharing so generously with our community. And thank you Pastor for your spiritual blessing when you came to the store!

We’re incredibly thankful for the overwhelming generosity and support that we receive from Masontown, Smithfield, Uniontown, etc. Every donation, big or small allows us to reach people in need. But, we need to put a short pause on receiving donations so we can process the vast amount of quality merchandise you have provided to us. Please consider volunteering, like so many charities, we are desperate for volunteers! Thank you for your generosity and showing us how much you care!
