Stark Library Stark Library is Stark County's district library system. Our ten neighborhood locations are the hub of our community.

We invite people in, participate in their learning, and encourage them to transform the world! Features

History: The Jackson Township Branch opened in July 1992, funded in large part by community fundraising throughout the 1980s. On August 1st, the Jackson Township Branch moved to a new interim location in The Marketplace at Nobles Pond as we plan and construct a new branch. We are using this opportunity to test pilot new design, technologies and services.

Did you know: Stark Library is funded through locally approved property taxes, the Ohio Public Library Fund (PLF), investment income, and grants/donations/fees.

The Operational Levy this November includes a modest adjustment to maintain current services –NOT AN EXPANSION. Cost of materials, salaries and benefits for staff, security services, property insurance, and vehicle repairs/maintenance have all increased significantly. Our state funding has also been reduced by $350,000 per year.
