👏 Help us congratulate our newest Crisis Intervention Team (CIT) trained officers! 👏

We are proud to recognize our officers who have completed Crisis Intervention Team (CIT) training, further strengthening their ability to respond to individuals experiencing mental health crises and other behavioral health challenges.

CIT training equips officers with valuable tools to recognize signs of crisis, use effective communication and de-escalation techniques, and connect individuals with appropriate resources when needed.

This commitment to continued training reflects our dedication to serving our community with professionalism, compassion, and understanding. 💙

Please join us in congratulating our newest CIT-trained officers and thanking them for their commitment to making a difference in the lives of those they serve!

🚨 UPDATE: The dog warden now has this dog safely in their care.

We also want to clarify the blood seen around the dog’s neck. The blood came from an individual who was attempting to assist with capturing the dog. The dog was not aggressive. It appeared to be in some pain, which made the situation more difficult.

The individual attempting to secure the dog picked it up underneath its belly, which resulted in the injury and blood that was observed.

This sweet momma is scared, confused, and all alone. 💔🐾

She was found wandering with no idea where she belongs. She appears to have recently had puppies, and we can’t help but wonder if there are babies out there missing their momma. 😢

She is very timid and just wants to feel safe. ❤️

Please SHARE this post! Someone may recognize her and know where she belongs.

🙏 Help us get this momma back home and reunited with her family. 🐾❤️
