Macallister for Congress Tyler MacAllister is a devoted public servant, community leader, and lifelong resident of Massachusetts’ South Coast, running for U.S.

Representative in Congressional District 9. With deep roots in Mattapoisett, where he serves as a Select Board member, Tyler’s connection to the region—encompassing the South Coast, Cape Cod, the Islands, and the South Shore—runs profound. His candidacy is driven by a passion for amplifying the voices of his neighbors, particularly local fishermen, and a commitment to restoring fiscal responsibility in Washington. Combining a fisherman’s grit with a sharp intellect honed by a master’s degree in business and a background in marine biology, Tyler brings a unique perspective to the challenges facing his district and the nation. Born and raised on the South Coast, Tyler’s life has been shaped by the rhythms of the sea and the tight-knit communities that define the region. As a fisherman at heart, he understands the economic and cultural importance of Massachusetts’ fisheries, which have sustained generations. His marine biology expertise gives him a deep appreciation for the environmental challenges threatening these waters, and he is determined to protect this vital industry from overregulation and economic neglect. Tyler’s time on the Mattapoisett Select Board has honed his ability to listen to constituents, navigate complex local issues, and deliver practical solutions—skills he pledges to bring to Congress. Tyler’s professional background is as diverse as the district he seeks to represent. His master’s in business equips him with a keen understanding of economic policy, budgeting, and fiscal management, which he believes are critical to addressing the nation’s ballooning deficits and economic uncertainty. A staunch advocate for financial conservatism, Tyler champions common-sense budgeting that prioritizes the needs of working families, small businesses, and veterans. He is committed to cutting wasteful spending while ensuring that essential services and infrastructure investments strengthen CD9’s communities. At the core of Tyler’s campaign is his dedication to the people of Congressional District 9. He is a tireless advocate for the region’s fishermen, fighting to ensure their livelihoods are protected through policies that balance environmental stewardship with economic opportunity. Tyler is equally passionate about supporting veterans, recognizing their sacrifices and pushing for robust services and opportunities to help them thrive. His vision for CD9 is one of resilient communities, where practical, results-driven policies foster economic growth, preserve local traditions, and restore trust in government. Tyler MacAllister’s campaign is built on a promise: to represent the heart and soul of Massachusetts’ South Coast, Cape, Islands, and South Shore with integrity, determination, and a relentless focus on results. By blending his local experience, fiscal discipline, and deep connection to the region’s maritime heritage, Tyler aims to be a bold, effective voice for CD9 in Congress, delivering for the people who call this vibrant district home.

Thank you, Bristol County. Every wave, every thumbs-up, every friendly face on the corner this weekend meant the world to us.

We were proud to stand shoulder to shoulder with a great group of candidates: Mike Minogue for Governor, Elizabeth Dionne for Treasurer, Mike Walsh for Attorney General, Bob McConnell for State Senate, and Brendalee Smith for State Representative. Thank you, Bob, for holding down that corner with us.

And to every volunteer who held a sign: you are the reason this campaign works. Thank you.

Tuesday, November 3, polls are open 7 AM to 8 PM. Make a plan to vote with a friend. Or bring 25. Who are you bringing?

Mike Minogue and I ran twenty-five miles south of Nantucket to see the Vineyard Wind turbines up close.
Offshore structures are supposed to build a reef, the way the oil and gas platforms did in the Gulf...
We're not seeing that here. No teeming life around these turbines. That's a problem, and it's a problem I intend to change.
Watch the full film at https://macallister4congress.com, and vote Tuesday, November 3.

I will be providing updates for my trip out to offshore wind today, November 1. Beautiful morning. Finishing up this year sampling season with our first trip of two in the month of November.

With only a few days left before the election, yesterday included a radio appearance on 1420 WBSM, door knocking for a few hours in the Forestdale area in a great neighborhood where they take Halloween very seriously. I was very impressed with the way the houses and yards were decorated. After door knocking joined in a stand out with State Representative Steve Xiarhos, Kari MacRae and John Deaton in Sandwich. The fun continues today with a stand out in Fairhaven to start the day.

I spent fifteen years on the Mattapoisett Select Board, and in all that time we never heard a word from our congressman.
Your congressman should know your town, answer your email, and show up when you need help.
That's the congressman I'll be: accessible, accountable, and always local, in every town from the South Shore to the Cape and Islands.

Election Day is Tuesday, November 3.

10/30/2026

Today, Friday, October 30, is the last day to vote early in most towns.
