Weโ€™re thrilled to share that MLL staff member Jenna was nominated for the Excellence in Library Service Award! ๐ŸŽ‰ She received her nomination certificate at last nightโ€™s Suffolk County Library Association Annual Dinner.

Jennaโ€™s dedication, patience, and excellent communication skills make a meaningful difference in our library every day. Whether sheโ€™s helping patrons make copies, recommending their next great read, leading book discussions, or lending a hand across departments, Jenna consistently goes above and beyond.

Weโ€™re so grateful to have Jenna on our team. Congratulations, Jenna, on this wonderful recognition!

โœจ Travel along the historic Silk Road through music and dance!

Join us for a one-of-a-kind performance by acclaimed dancer and cultural educator Wendi Weng and percussionist Chris Howard. The Silk Road was one of historyโ€™s great trade routes, connecting more than forty countries from China to Tรผrkiye. This performance invites you to explore the Silk Roadโ€™s legacy through rhythm and movement. Featuring percussion instruments once traded along the route and dances that blossomed through cultural exchange, this workshop highlights the rich traditions of the Middle East and Far East.

Registration encouraged, walk-ins welcomed.
