This World Food Day, Help Feed Lakers!

Did you know that, according to The Hope Center for Student Basic Needs, 41% of college students experienced food insecurity within the last year?

For some students, focusing on classes and earning a degree/certificate also means worrying about where their next meal will come from. At Lake Land College, we want to help ease that burden so students can focus on reaching their goals.

This World Food Day, you can make a difference! Make a gift to support the Lake Land College Food Pantry and help provide students with access to the food they need to succeed. Every gift makes a difference!

Give today: https://www.lakelandcollege.edu/online-giving/

It was a great day to be a Laker!

The Broadcasting Club is rolling up their sleeves to combat food insecurity, and you can join them in their mission!

Beginning October 19, the Club is hosting its 20th annual food drive to support Lake Land students and their families. The Club will be collecting donations of all non-perishable, individually-packaged food items, with all donations going to our on-campus Laker Food Pantry.

Donation boxes will be located in the Luther Student Center, the Northwest Building, the Library and the West building for people to drop off food donations.

Want to make a cash donation instead? Visit LakeLandCollege.edu/Online-Giving/ to make your gift! Be sure to select "other" in the drop down list of donation options, and type "Laker Food Pantry" in the text box below.
