Introducing the new Grow A Row Produce Cart at Camp Douglas Village Hall! A huge thank you to our partners, Julie Mecikalski from the Healthy Foods Community Action Team, Sarah from the Camp Douglas Village Hall, Lynxx Networks, and New Lisbon Correctional for making this community collaboration a reality. The cart can be found inside the Village Hall, next to the recently installed Community Tides Care Cabinet. 304 Center St. Camp Douglas.

Yesterday, the Sauk County Health Department presented five Public Health Excellence Awards to 5 individuals who work in their county to make a difference. Jennifer Froh, Health Educator and Wisconsin Well Woman Program Coordinator received one of the awards in the category of Prevention in Action. This category recognizes an individual or organization that goes beyond talking about prevention and takes meaningful action to make it happen.

Jennifer works tirelessly to ensure that every person who turns to the Wisconsin Well Woman Program receives support and that health systems throughout her large service area understand the resources available. She also stands beside those who receive a breast or cervical cancer diagnosis, helping them navigate the difficult journey ahead, a responsibility she considers a privilege.
