This year, the City of Mauston invites participants to step into a world where Christmas movie magic meets the wonder of Santa's North Pole Workshop. From beloved holiday classics and memorable movie characters to bustling elves, toy-making magic, and Santa's sleigh preparations, the possibilities are endless.

Whether your float recreates a scene from a favorite Christmas film, brings the North Pole to life, or combines the two in a unique way, we encourage you to showcase the joy, imagination, and holiday spirit that make this season so special. Gather your friends, family, coworkers, classmates, or organization members and help us transform our streets into a celebration of Christmas magic.

Join us as we bring the wonder of the silver screen and the enchantment of the North Pole to the heart of Mauston for a memorable holiday tradition the whole community can enjoy. ✨🎅🎄🍿

Top 10 things to do in the Mauston area this weekend:
🔟 The trees are near peak color! Take a picture-perfect fall color drive around Mauston. Try scenic routes like Highway 82, Highway K, or Necedah Wildlife Refuge.
9️⃣ Dust off that unfinished story and bring it to the Mauston Writers Guild on Wednesday at Hatch Public Library. Writers of all levels can share work and get feedback on October 7th, 6 pm.
8️⃣ Get into spooky season with a charcoal drawing class on Monday at Gravity Box Brewing Company. No experience needed—artist-led fun on October 12th, 6–8 pm.

8️⃣ Get in some target practice for deer season at Mauston’s Archery Range. The updated range is free and open to the public.
7️⃣ Make your reservations to be in Mauston for the Holiday train, parade and park lights! December brings festive events, lights, and fun at Riverside Park.
