Hartville Fire - Barn Fire, Fully involved 11850 William Penn Hartville. MA Alarm struck.

09/18/2026

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Retired Marlboro Fire Chief Tom Linerode.

Chief Linerode was a great man and mentor to all who had the privilege of serving alongside him. Unwavering in his commitment to Marlboro Township and the Marlboro Fire Company, he will be sorely missed. Even in his retirement he went out of his way to come to department events and was always willing to take a call when guidance was needed.

Marlboro Fire will forever be grateful for his unceasing commitment. We are a better fire company and community because of his works.

Godspeed, Sir! We will take it from here.
