"In second grade, we read a story similar to The Gingerbread Man where a pancake came to life and ran away from the people who were trying to eat him. We learned that examples like this are called personification in a story. We are also learning in science about solids and liquids and irreversible and reversible changes. We thought, what better time to whip up some pancakes and put on some yummy toppings to combine both of these fun things that we learned about! THESE pancakes, weren’t able to get away from the 2nd graders! 🤪😉"
