West Kentucky Rural Electric Cooperative WKRECC is a member-owned electric cooperative. We welcome you and your comments to the West Kentucky Rural Electric Cooperative page.

We sincerely appreciate your feedback. The purpose of our page is to present helpful information and matters of interest to WKRECC members and to the communities that we serve. We encourage you to submit your questions and comments, but in order to keep the conversation productive and cooperative in spirit, please follow these guidelines:
• Remember that Facebook is monitored primarily during business hours, so a response to your question or concern may not be immediate.
• We never want to compromise the safety of your family, home or business, so please do not share any personal or account- specific information on our page (your address, phone number or account number are examples of things to stay away from). If you need assistance related specifically to your account, please call us at 1-877-495-7322 and let us assist you over the telephone or in person.
• Please do not report outages on Facebook. These accounts are not integrated with our power interruption software, so your outage will not be registered in our system and your power may not be restored in a timely manner. Please report any power outages to us at 1-877-495-7322 so we can restore your power as quickly as possible.
• This is a family-friendly site, so please refrain from using profanity, hate speech and personal attacks. WKRECC reserves the right to remove any post that we feel violates these rules, is rude or offensive or contains negative feedback that is presented without constructive criticism.
• Comments are welcome and encouraged but should be focused on the topic at hand. If you have an issue that is not related to a topic on the site, please call us so we can address it in person.
• Please do not use this site to promote a business or product that is unrelated to the cooperative. Also, please do not post links, inappropriate photos or videos, or material that infringes on copyright or spam. Posts that violate any of these guidelines will be removed.

We are just a few days away from the 2026 Pumpkins in the Park. WKRECC along with Cornerstone Connectivity (formerly WK&T) are working hard to make this event just as magical as last year! Here are a few details our members and guests need to know:

This year Pumpkins in the Park will be held in and around the gymnasium at the WK&T Tech Park located at 100 WK&T Technology Park Drive, Mayfield, Ky.

There are two ways to enter the park. You can come in to the gymnasium off of 1241, and there is a large parking lot in front of the WK&T Tech park when you come off of Hwy 45. The second entrance off of 1241, near the apartments, will be closed for safety purposes.

Our costume contest will be held at 1:30 p.m. and be sure to visit with our animal shelter who will be on-site with some adoptable, furry friends!

We look forward to seeing you all there this Saturday, October 24th from 12 p.m. until 3 p.m. for an exciting day filled with surprises, free giveaways, special character experiences and more!

WKRECC was proud to participate in last week’s AGC/MSU Construction Career Day! With approximately 1,700 students representing more than 25 school systems, the event provided an exciting opportunity to introduce students to the different career opportunities available.

Students who visited our area had the chance to get hands-on experience with some of the tasks and challenges our linemen encounter in the field every day. We enjoyed sharing a glimpse of what it takes to keep the lights on and helping inspire the next generation of skilled workers.

Thank you to AGC and MSU for the invitation and for providing valuable opportunities for students to explore future career paths. We look forward to being part of it again next year!

WKRECC, along with the Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA), was proud to make a donation in support of Camp Graves and the incredible work they continue to do in our community and beyond, including the addition of Camp Rendezvous.

Their hard work, compassion, and commitment to helping those in need have never wavered.

WKRECC and TVA are proud to support Camp Graves and the difference they continue to make in the lives of so many. We are grateful for their dedication to helping individuals and families rebuild, recover, and move forward.
