🛡️IDEA McAllen Safe School Week

At IDEA McAllen, Safety Starts With Us

As we continue recognizing Safe School Week, we want to remind our scholars and families that threats are never a joke, and every threat must be taken seriously.

🎥 We encourage all families to take a few minutes to watch the Texas School Safety Center's “Threats Are No Joke!” video and have a meaningful conversation with their scholars about the importance of making responsible choices and reporting concerning behavior.

🗣️ See Something, Say Something! Speaking up can make a difference in keeping our school community safe.

🤝 Together, we can create a culture of awareness, responsibility, and safety!

❤️ Safe Scholars. Strong Schools. Bright Futures.

🛡️Safety Starts With Us!🛡️
It's Safe School Week at IDEA McAllen! 🏫✨
October 19th - 23rd, 2026
Every Scholar. Every Staff Member. Every Day!

This week, our scholars and staff will be learning, reviewing, and reinforcing important school safety practices that help keep our campus a safe, welcoming, and supportive environment for everyone.

Throughout the week, we'll be sharing daily safety reminders and tips with our families because school safety is a shared responsibility! 🤝

Together, we can empower our scholars to make safe choices, look out for one another, and speak up when something doesn't seem right.

THANK YOU, IDEA McAllen families, for partnering with us to keep our school community safe! ❤️
