I am Joyce Thornton, founder of 180 Degree About Face—and a proud breast cancer survivor.
180 DEGREE ABOUT FACE is a Non Pofit 501c3 organization, offering support to women that maybe struggling to get their life back and ready for a 180 . A Christian based Women's Ministry-Support Group for Women who have been incarcerated and are seriously ready to get their life back on track. A Ministry/Support for any women who may be going in the wrong direction and need to do an about face, a turnaround, a 180 DEGREE change. A 180 DEGREE TURN WILL PUT YOU IN A DIFFERENT DIRECTION, A WHOLE NEW DIRECTION. To change one's mind and assume the opposite viewpoint
TURN AROUND
To turn abruptly and face the other way, either physically or metaphorically. Over the years I have ministered to so many women on the inside of prison walls. But what happens to you once you are out. What are you to do with your lives after prison? The enemy within makes you feel worthless, ashamed like that prison sentence was a death sentence after you are released. My Pastor has told me often that sometimes I am my own worst enemy. I have felt this way over the years because of my past mistakes. But this isn't how God views us or sees us. I am learning to see me as God sees me. God wants to put the pieces of your broken lives back together. He doesn't want to leave you feeling broken or worthless. He wants to lead you into spiritual wholeness. If you allow Him, God wants to do an about face in your lives. He wants to transform you, to renew your mind and thinking process. The enemy within you wants to see you stay broken and worthless. With the help of God and 180 DEGREES-ABOUT FACE MINISTRY-SUPPORT GROUP, you will get the support and the keys you need that will help you get back on track. What we offer at 180 DEGREES-ABOUT FACE
1. Ministry/teachings, a spiritual foundation because you can't do an about face, a turn around without Christ (RENEWING OF YOUR MIND).
2. Help find job leads to businesses that will hire felons or those with a criminal past 3. Counseling for women who are headed in wrong direction and need to do a 180 DEGREE TURN quick. 4. As we grow, 180 DEGREES-ABOUT FACE MINISTRY-SUPPORT GROUP, will be offering a staffing agency that will hire women and men with criminal records. Our goal is to find businesses who are willing to hire former criminals and that will contract with 180 DEGREES-ABOUT FACE MINISTRY. What is the ABOUT FACE OF 180 DEGREES MINISTRY-SUPPORT GROUP

As a breast cancer survivor, I know firsthand that the journey is about so much more than medical treatments. It's about facing fear, finding strength, and having people who lift you up when you need them most.
That's why 180 Degree About Face, started this new chapter, my goal is to make sure no woman in our community has to face breast cancer alone.
On October 3, 2026, we will come together for our Breast Cancer Walk to raise funds that will provide real help to women in Fayette and Greene counties—assistance with transportation to treatments, groceries, utilities, medication co-pays, and other everyday expenses while they focus on healing.
I would be honored if you would support this mission by registering for the walk, making a donation, becoming a sponsor, or simply sharing this post. Every act of kindness, no matter the size, makes a difference.
