We have been thinking about how we could make extra money. For the last few months we have come up short on being able to cover all school cost for the children and young people we love and support. Also we have had many needs here at the farm...so we are thinking of starting a small baking business in hopes to cover some expenses.🙏🏼

We are trusting that the Lord will make a way for us to cover all cost for the month of October. If you would like to help in anyway...we would be so grateful!!

Yesterday, we had another pipe burst in our kitchen. Water came rushing out, and it was hard to get the water turned completely off. We were up late into the night trying to get things cleaned up and dried out.

We are without water at the house today. Enrique is working hard to figure out how to repair the pipes.

It is hard to believe that the Carolyn House is 16 years old! It has been a blessing to our big family and all the children who have lived there.

There are many repairs to be done. Keeping the mold out has been a huge job, and at times it feels a little overwhelming.

The dehumidifiers help tremendously, but our electric bill has been extremely high. We are looking at ways to lower the cost. This has been a big concern as we try to figure out what to do.

We do not have the money for repairs, so we are asking the Lord for wisdom and guidance on what He wants us to do. The farm and land are a big responsibility. Right now we cannot afford paid help.

We don’t want the upkeep and repairs to take away from being able to reach out and care for others, especially the children who depend on us. Would you please pray for us? Especially Enrique. He carries so much and is always serving and caring for others.

God has opened doors, He is doing new things, and we are SO grateful!! We will need the Lord’s wisdom going forward and the resources to do it.

We help sponsor kids so they can continue their education. These kids are part of the hidden treasures family. This has been a wonderful blessing to many and changes their future.
We want them to be able to continue their studies. It means so much! There are kids that are depending on us, not only for their education but much more.
If you would like to help a child or a young person, we would be very grateful.
It is hard to express just how much your giving means to us.

We were able to start dental work on one child but she will have two more appointments next week. We are asking for your prayers that the Lord will provide every need and make a way. We put our trust in Him!

We have a child that needs dental work done because she broke a tooth. We are looking at how much it will cost to get the work done. She has been in pain. So we would appreciate your prayers. Tomorrow we will know more but we are looking at around $140 right now. If the Lord puts it on your heart to help we would be very grateful.

Something Enrique said to me yesterday has stayed with me: “It is dangerous to sit in uncertainty and fear instead of focusing on a God who is sure, certain, and faithful.”

Enrique has been talking to us about the story of the 12 spies that the Lord told Moses to send out to explore Canaan, the Promised Land. This story has encouraged Enrique's heart.

It is interesting to note that God had already promised to give them the land. Yet when the 12 spies returned, 10 of them focused on the giants and the challenges they saw and forgot about the promise.

It’s not that Caleb and Joshua didn’t see the giants or the challenges. They saw the same things, but their focus was on the greatness of God. Their focus was different.

It is so easy to see only what is right in front of us—the problem, the struggle. I believe the Lord is teaching us to look at Him and His greatness.

What a privilege it is to be in a place where He is our only hope, where He is the only answer. And what an honor to be able to go to Him.

May the Lord help us keep our eyes on Him and remember that He is bigger than any giant we may be facing!❤️🙏🏼

We finally got power back late last night at our home. There was damage to power lines in our area after the earthquake. We are very grateful!

We were also able to get a new battery for our car, which is such a blessing!! We cannot do our work without transportation. We still need several things fixed, but we are so grateful to have it running today! 🙌

Things have been very tight financially, and every donation and gift helps tremendously!

I got a message from a dear loved one asking for bus money to be able to go to church this weekend. It was just two dollars that she needed to be able to go to church with her children. 🥹 What a difference a few dollars can make for someone!

Please continue to pray for the young girls who live in the children’s home that is closing. They need a good home and a family who will love and care for them. This is a big task! But we know the Lord is able.

There are many situations where we need a breakthrough and for the Lord to move. We sure do appreciate your prayers!! I can’t tell you how much it means.

If you, or someone you know, would like to support us so we can continue our work here, we would be so grateful!! These next few days we will need the Lord to provide to make it through. Our hope and trust are in Him!!!

We would appreciate your prayers that the Lord would provide a way to get a new battery for our car. We found one that cost around $100. The battery died a few days ago.
We have a man that maybe interested in buying the car. This would be a tremendous blessing to be able to sell it.
