We just want to say thank you to everyone who showed up for our Collaborative Meeting on April 21, 2026💛

We had the chance to hear from some incredible folks — Brenda Simms (United Food Force), Nicole Folkes-Johnson (Eat Right Atlanta Fruit & Vegetable Co-Op), and Mariah Bellamy (Georgia Campaign for Adolescent Power and Potential). They shared real insight and took time to talk through solutions our community truly needs.

We had honest conversations about food insecurity, access to healthy food, and how we can better support adolescent health right here in our community. Please note that part of the discussion also centered on teen pregnancy — with Georgia’s numbers higher than the national average — as well as teen STDs, and the importance of education and resources to address these challenges.

This is what Connecting Henry is all about — coming together, having real conversations, and working toward solutions that matter. One discussion, one meal, one step at a time.
