Habitat for Humanity - Collin County Habitat Collin County brings people together to build homes, communities, and hope. In 2018 we merged with South Collin County.

Habitat Collin County was incorporated in 1992 in McKinney, Texas, as McKinney Habitat for Humanity, Inc. Our name was changed in 2002 to North Collin County Habitat for Humanity to reflect our expanding service area. Our affiliate serves the communities of McKinney, Plano, Frisco, Melissa, Allen, Celina, Princeton, Prosper, Farmersville, Wylie, and Anna. Through partnerships with local government entities, churches, corporations, individuals and service organizations, we have been able to complete 220 houses for deserving families since 1992. We also operate a 2 ReStores that sell new and used building materials to the public and takes donations of these materials for a tax-deductible receipt. For more information about volunteering, qualifying for a home or the ReStore, call 972-542-5300. Habitat for Humanity is an equal opportunity non-profit housing organization

Behind every Habitat home and every successful ReStore project are dedicated volunteers who generously give their time, experience, and energy to make a difference... project after project, and year after year!

We were honored to celebrate our long-time House Leaders and Crew Chiefs at our Core Volunteer Appreciation Dinner last night. (We missed the few who were unable to join us!) Whether leading build days by guiding tasks alongside donor-partner volunteers on home projects, or working behind the scenes in the shop, these volunteers have played an invaluable role in helping Habitat for Humanity of Collin County serve local families for many years.

Thank you for your unwavering commitment to our mission and for helping build a stronger community, one home, one project, and one family at a time. ❤️🏡🔨

We apologize, but we've had to close the offices and ReStore today. Intermittent power outages all morning caused ongoing interruptions to our computers, cash register operations, and more.

We plan to reopen the ReStore tomorrow at 9 a.m. pending full restoration of the power. Thank you for understanding and for your continued support of our mission!

❤️ What a morning we had, celebrating the home blessing of the Lewis family home! This was our latest repair project that turned into a new build when the existing home was determined to be unrepairable. 🏡😍

What started with the pouring of a new foundation in late June and wall raising on July 11 quickly became a beautiful home, thanks to many hours spent on this house by hundreds of volunteers. And huge thank yous to McKinney Community Development Corporation and the city of McKinney, Texas - Unique by Nature for their financial and logistics support!

This was truly a labor of love for the community, donor partners, volunteers, Habitat team, and skilled crafts people. Just a couple more tasks and the house will be ready for the family to move into next week. Welcome home, Ramona and family. Many blessings to you all. 🫶 🙌🏼👏

Right now, seven families in our homeownership program are preparing for a new chapter.

They're attending financial education classes, starting sweat equity hours, and doing everything required to earn the opportunity to purchase a Habitat home through affordable financing. They aren't waiting or looking for a handout. They're working toward a hand up.

But before their dreams can become reality, we need to build.

Construction costs include everything from foundations and permits to plumbing, electrical work, framing, and drywall. Every donation, no matter the size, helps move these families one step closer to a safe place to call home.

For many, this has been a dream years in the making. You can help make it possible.

🏠 Donate today and help build homes, stability, and hope.
