Looking for a hands-on summer job with a steady weekday schedule? Collin County is hiring Temporary Groundskeepers at $19.81 per hour.

This position is ideal for candidates who enjoy working outdoors and operating landscaping equipment. Duties include mowing, edging, landscaping, tree and shrub trimming, and maintaining county grounds. Employees may also assist with operating heavy equipment such as front-end loaders, tractor-mounted trenchers, tillers, and sprayers, along with other assigned grounds maintenance tasks.

The schedule is Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM, making it a great full-time summer opportunity.

Qualified candidates should have:
• A high school diploma
• A valid driver’s license
• Experience operating lawn equipment
• Knowledge of standard groundskeeping and maintenance procedures
