Dr. Raj Menon serves as Treasurer and Trustee of Collin College. He was elected in May 2017 and sworn-in for a 2-year term.
Dr. Raj Menon was first sworn in as a Trustee of Collin County Community College District (Collin College) on December 6, 2016. He serves in Place 5, of a nine-member Board of Trustees; all members are elected and serve at-large. His colleagues on the board also appointed him as Treasurer of the Board of Trustees. Dr. Menon also serves as a member of the Finance and Audit Committee of the Collin College board as well as on the board of directors of the Collin College Foundation.

Today was the swearing-in ceremony (4th time for me!) as Trustee in Place 5 of Collin College. I was sworn-in with newly elected trustees Justin Adcock (Place 4) and Staci Weaver (Place 6) by Board Secretary Donna Ludwig. We hope to serve for a term of six years.
Congressman Keith Self (3rd District) was very kind to join us in person and awarded us congratulatory certificates from the US House of Representatives.
My colleagues also voted to appoint me Vice-Chairman of the Board for a two-year term. I am very grateful for the honor.
Thank you, Collin County! It is a privilege and an honor to serve the citizens and tax payers as well as the students, faculty, administration and staff of this amazing institution (now celebrating its 40th Anniversary!) which is making a difference in the life of students, families and in the workforce and economy of Collin County.
Thank you Deepa and Rashmi for being there to show your support and also to Kevin Cain for coming all the way with a gift of camel-milk chocolates from Dubai! What a treat!
