Congratulations to Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office Chief Deputy Derrick Epperson & McLeansboro Police Departments Sgt Mathew Bryson who received their Tactical Patrol Officer TPO pins at this morning’s MTU 15 Advisory Board meeting:

ITOA's TPO Program is a training and recognition initiative that provides training in a core group of tactical skill sets that will better prepare officers when confronted with unexpected, on-going violent criminal events and active threat situations. The skills learned enhance their daily survivability and tactical capabilities.

Congratulations!

Just some safety reminders as Fall Festival Weekend approaches.

To say that we had a blast yesterday at the McLeansboro Police Free Open Swim is absolutely correct. 94 people, 240 Popsicles and only 1 rain delay later we were worn out. Thanks to all those that came out, and Bev Reyling and the McLeansboro Swimming Pool staff for helping us make this a huge success!
