Do you want to help your Community but dont feel the desire to run into a burning building or become and emt or paramedic?

Well Now you can!

Introducing the McMechen VFD Friends of the Firehouse. A place where you can aid us in our important endeavors. Help with community events and fundraising.

Aid us in continuing the exemplary service you have come to expect from The Department for well over 100 years.

Men, women and teens over the age of 16 are all welcome. Without the support we received from community members, the rebirth of our long loved Street Fair would not have been possible. And with such a great out pouring of support for that event we thought a community action group is just what we needed. If interested see your favorite firemen. There will be in informational meeting announced in the near future as well as a sign up page added to our web site as soon as our webmaster gets back from a Well deserved vacation.

Make a difference in your fire department and your community.

Always Ready, Always Faithful.

The McMechen Volunteer Fire Department.

PS. If you would like to help with this weekends event we would love to have you. We will be setting up Friday evening after 3 and at 8 am Saturday. The event starts at noon. See ya there!!
