What's on your project list this year? New windows or doors? Insulation? Replacing a furnace with a heat pump? Did you know that we have rebates available for those energy-efficiency projects?
💰 How much can you save? Depending on income and project details, BPA heat pump rebates range from $920 to $9,000, plus you might qualify for an extra $1,500 from MW&L. Don't let the recent weather fool you — a hot, dry summer is on the horizon, and according to experts, because of record low snowpack, wildfire concerns are more heightened than usual this year. Please be extra diligent to keep our communities safe:
• Use extra caution with anything that can spark a fire — campfires, grills, yard equipment, and towing chains.
• Always follow local burn bans and fire‑safety guidelines.
• Keep a “go bag” ready with essentials like medications, important documents, clothing, water, and a phone charger.
• Make an evacuation plan with your household so everyone knows what to do if a fire threatens your area.
A little preparation now can make a big difference later. Let’s all stay alert, safe, and protect Oregon together. Learn more at ready.gov/kit.

Irrigation season is upon us! The state of Oregon requires that all backflow assemblies be tested once each calendar year by a certified tester.
A few of the systems requiring backflow protection are underground irrigation sprinklers, boilers, fire sprinkler systems, and properties with wells. Read more about backflow and find a list of certified testers on our website. Thanks for doing your part to keep our drinking water safe!
