Irrigation season is upon us! The state of Oregon requires that all backflow assemblies be tested once each calendar year by a certified tester.
A few of the systems requiring backflow protection are underground irrigation sprinklers, boilers, fire sprinkler systems, and properties with wells. Read more about backflow and find a list of certified testers on our website. Thanks for doing your part to keep our drinking water safe!

We wanted to share some photos and information about yesterday’s power outage: Because of gusty winds accompanying the rain early Wednesday, a large oak tree fell on wires on NW High Heaven Road, causing an outage at 3 a.m., which affected about 200 customers in that area. Crews responded immediately, first safely securing the scene and then removing the large tree. They then had to replace a pole that had been damaged and then rewire the area. They were able to restore power at 8:20 a.m. Thanks to our line workers for their quick response, and thanks to our customers for their patience during the outage.
