Winter at the John Hubbard house means waking every 2 hours to keep the wood stove burning. Funny, it doesn't feel like a chore at all. There is pleasure in truely feeling the seasons.

Summer in the yard
Now that our home is off the market, I have decided to keep this FB page up and going as a living record of our journey with this house. As of right now, we are going to spend the next three years here, and hope to at least remodel the kitchen, paint the front of the house, and put up a new fence. I would also like to remodel the downstairs bathroom, and the stairwell, and the upstairs shower stall, as well as get new doors and crown molding upstairs, but these projects aren't deemed "necessary," as the first ones are.
